Are my eyes betraying me as I age gracefully, or does the Department of Motor Vehicles not make a distinction between the two? Personally, I’d like to see zeros with a slash through them so I can tell the difference. I cannot tell the difference between a zero and the letter O on a license plate, unless you consider the plate’s sequence.
